Breiberg(s)

You may have seen the benches on the Breiberg in the Flash intro "Mountains and Valleys". From here, you have a beautiful view of the mountains Drachenfels and Wolkenburg. The Breiberg comes in a pair: Big Breiberg and Small Breiberg.

The photos on this page were taken on the hiking trail "over the Breiberg mountains to Bad Honnef" that takes you from the Lohrberg loop hiking trail high in the Seven Mountains to the city of Bad Honnef. Right at the meadow below the forest hotel Löwenburger Hof, a hiking trail begins, and there is a sign "Bad Honnef" and another one "Tretschbachtal". Follow the trails for a while, around some curves, and you see another sign "Breiberge" on your right. It is a romantic trail through the Seven Mountains which I like very much.
