Lohrberg (432 m) |
|
|
I like the Lohrberg a lot. Agreed, his
"neighbors", the Löwenburg and the Ölberg, are better known, but the Lohrberg
has his own charm. If you walk along the round
way, you have a wonderful view on the Ölberg, the Löwenburg with the ruin on the top, in
general all the other hills and down into the Rhine Valley.
Just sit down on a bench and enjoy the view, and if you follow one of the narrow paths and don't meet anyone for minutes, you feel like walking through almost untouched nature. If you walk around the Lohrberg in summer and arrive at the meadow in front of the Löwenburger Hof (a restaurant) you may receive a particularly loud welcome. How to get there |
