Here we are at the Löwenburg meadow below the forest restaurant Löwenburger Hof. This is a bit of a crossroads, several hiking trails from the valley into the hills meet here.
Mount Löwenburg (455 m), one of the name-giving seven mountains in the Siebengebirge, is located in the city of Bad Honnef. You have to climb a bit at the end of the walk up to the top, but it’s worth all your efforts.
The Einsiedlertal Valley takes you from Bad Honnef up into the Siebengebirge, direction Löwenburg. In English, it would be “Hermits’ Valley”, and if you like wild romantic sceneries, you will enjoy this trail.
