A traditional fairy tale of the Rhine. This malignant dragon lived in an indefinite time at Mount Drachenfels. From his lair on top of the Drachenfels lay in wait for passing ships. As soon as a ship got near enough, he spew fire onto it.
The ship caught fire and its unfortunate crew died in the flames or drowned in the Rhine.
One day, another ship passed by, and it was loaded with powder. However, the dragon didn’t realize that. As usual, he spew fire and saw how it caught fire, but then – boum !!! This ship blew up with an infernal noise, the sky covered with fire and debris, and the winds molded them into a giant ball that took the malignant dragon away. He was never seen again.
